Normally main casting and side covers are made of high grade close grain cast iron.The dynamically balanced impeller ismade of cast iron or bronze or gunmetal.its blades are curved at a specific angle for maximum efficiency. The shaft of the impeller is made of S.S. bronze or gunmetal EN steel and rotates on roller bearing at both ends. Its working portion in the side covers is covered with bronze or S.S. Sleeves.
